Police are on the hunt for four men they wish to speak with in connection with violent disorder in Blackpool last month.

There were violent scenes, and chants associated with the far-right, in Blackpool on 3 August with members of the public and emergency services workers among those targeted.

A number of people have received custodial sentences for their role in the disorder with police promising that more convictions will follow.

Police have now released images of four men they wish to speak with in connection with the disorder - along with taking the rare step of releasing their names to the public.

Josh Tickner, 21, from Blackpool, Thomas Whittaker, 30, from Bispham, Morgan Spencer, 21, from Fleetwood, and Glen Young, 22, from the Thornton Cleveleys/Poulton area, are all wanted for violent disorder, police said.

Any sightings of them or information as to where they might be, you can contact police on 101 – quoting log 0793 of 2nd September 2024 – or email [email protected].

Assistant Chief Constable Karen Edwards, of Lancashire Constabulary said last month: "If you chose to commit disorder, and act violently in our communities, we will find you, and we will bring you to justice. Violent disorder is not, and never will be tolerated in Lancashire.”
