Police have traced one of four men they were seeking in connection with disorder in Blackpool in early August.

Thomas Whittaker, 30, of Warbreck Drive, Blackpool, has been charged with violent disorder.

He will appear before Lancaster Magistrates Court during Friday (6 September).

It relates to disorder in Blackpool during Saturday 3 August where police were deployed to deal with protests which turned violent in the town centre.

Three other men remain at large - and are subject to the police appeal released earlier this week.
